Pilgrimage Route Participants Discovered Kalmykia’s Heritage
Pilgrims visited the Palmov National Museum and learned about the history and cultural heritage of the Republic of Kalmykia.
On June 24, the participants of the pilgrimage route dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Appearance of Christ the Savior visited the National Museum of the Republic of Kalmykia named after N. N. Palmov.
Exploring the museum collection was part of the cultural program of the route. It complements a visit to Orthodox shrines with a story about the history, traditions and diversity of the region.
This approach frames the anniversary not as an isolated event, but as an opportunity to introduce guests to Kalmykia in a broader historical and cultural context.
