The Elista Miracle
A trailer has been released for The Elista Miracle, a documentary dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Appearance of Christ the Savior in Elista. Produced by the SPAS television channel, the film will tell the story of the unique Appearance, its spiritual meaning and the hope it gave people.
Head of Kalmykia Batu Khasikov described the story as part of a shared spiritual heritage that is carefully preserved. “This is a sign that our land and our people are blessed. It is no coincidence that we are speaking about this in a Buddhist republic. For many centuries, representatives of different religions, peoples and cultures have lived here in peace and harmony, mutual friendship and support.” He also noted that the story would remind viewers of faith and unity.
The Elista Miracle will premiere on 10 September at 8:45 p.m. on the SPAS television channel and its social media platforms.
