A Prayer Service Was Held before the Icon of the Appearance of the Savior in Bolshoy Tsaryn

The Divine Liturgy and a prayer service before the icon were held at the Church of the Theophany in Bolshoy Tsaryn before the procession continued.

On 22 August, the icon “The Appearance of Christ the Savior in Elista” was welcomed at the Church of the Theophany of the Lord in Bolshoy Tsaryn.

The Divine Liturgy was celebrated at the church. A prayer service followed, after which parishioners accompanied the icon as it continued to the next stop in the procession.

The icon’s journey ahead of the 80th anniversary of the Appearance of Christ the Savior brings together parishes from districts across the republic.
