The Icon of the Appearance of Christ the Savior Was Welcomed in Tsagan Aman

On 23 August, the icon “The Appearance of Christ the Savior in Elista” was brought to the Church of Saint Nicholas the Wonderworker in Tsagan Aman.

Residents of Yustinsky District gathered at the church to pray before the venerated icon. The visit was the next stage of its procession through Kalmykia’s parishes.

The icon’s journey is taking place ahead of the celebrations marking the 80th anniversary of the Appearance of Christ the Savior in Elista.
